Senior Snapshots: New Year’s Resolutions

Another year has come and gone at last. While in 2012 my list of resolutions was insanely small, 50% honesty was at #1, this year I picked 13 resolutions!! I figured I would share a few on the blog as this week’s  Senior Snapshots post. (NOTE: This post was supposed to be posted a while ago but for reasons explained HERE it wasn't.)

1. Go to bed before or at 12am every night barring special occasions.
Yeah, so far this has had disastrous results. I procrastinate sleep and it needs to stop.

2. Be a better role model.
I’m a student council member and I believe I need to be a better role model for kids in my school. I can’t be perfect all the time, but I can be someone people can look up to and approach when necessary.

3. Learn to knit.
DONE! I had a fellow Girl Scout teach me last week! Knitting is awesome! Look at how long my scarf is getting!

4. Read my first Stephen King book.
My uncle has given me A TON of Stephen King books but they’re so large and daunting, I haven’t cracked one open yet. This will be the year I finally read one!

5. Get serious about this blog.
My blog means a lot to me and I feel like I've been putting it on the back-burner for things that don't mean all that much to me. I need to focus on it more. I’ve been thinking about getting a domain name and maybe even paying a friend to design the blog. Still, expect more reviews, interviews and giveaways in 2013!

What about you guys? Any interesting resolutions this year?
~Jess
